Inside Sales & Customer Service Specialist

Position:

The Sales & Customer Service Specialist is responsible for developing and optimizing partnerships with sales managers, business partners and other support departments through exceptional, solution-oriented service. This role entails processing all orders, assisting with inquiries, and overseeing various administration within assigned accounts.

Major duties include:

  • Demonstrates high energy and ownership towards supporting the Outside Sales Team and their corresponding accounts
  • Resolves any issues in a timely manner as it relates to assigned accounts including returns, damages, purchase order discrepancies, etc.
  • Accurately processes samples and orders via SAP Business One software for assigned accounts and helping with other accounts as needed
  • Filters phone calls from the general queue, providing excellent customer service and information (e.g. inventory levels, pricing, product information, representation information, etc.)
  • Responds to all communications and inquires within 24 hours
  • Works in tandem with other team members to ensure business partner efficiencies and results
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience customer service in an office environment, call center, and/or hospitality-orientated or field-related experience
