Inside Marketing Manager

Job Purpose

Under supervision of the Director of Demand Generation, the Inside Marketing Manager (IMM) is primarily responsible for coaching and developing Televerde’s Sales Development Representative (SDR) team who is tasked with generating qualified lead volume and opportunity pipeline for Televerde Sales Executives. The IMM oversees the performance of the SDR team’s outbound and inbound calling campaigns and seeks to continuously optimize performance of the team based on established performance benchmarks, call monitoring, ongoing coaching and proactive troubleshooting. The IMM ensures that SDRs are adequately trained, have the competency to meet the KPI requirements of their role and are building successful, professional relationships with the Televerde Sales Executives they support.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Leadership Team to develop and deploy successful demand generation campaigns and initiatives, including establishing relevant marketing contribution revenue targets, KPIs, messaging, etc.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of business goals within assigned market segments and lead SDRs through ongoing assessment and coaching to achieve KPIs and deliver results.
  • Incorporate Televerde demand gen/inside sales best practices in leading and managing the team to achieve expectations, including coaching & development, campaign management and troubleshooting, KPI monitoring & managing, reporting and analysis,
  • Provide proactive, timely and actionable feedback on all campaign and SDR activities, including data quality, messaging & training, people, process & technology to optimize results and achieve expectations.
  • Support sales and marketing alignment by facilitating SDR/sales rep engagement to include penetration and prioritization of their key accounts, as well as rep support throughout the sales cycle to achieve best in class conversion rates.
  • Assist the team with Account specific research, including financial information, competitive relationships, business strategies and initiatives, global strategies & presence.
  • Goals and that leads are properly tracked / attributed to appropriate campaigns across the sales cycle.
  • Manage SDR schedules and activities to ensure accurate and effective reporting and analysis, including BPs, account & contact data capture, MQL/SAL/SQL conversions.
  • Utilize internal reporting tools and dashboards to continuously assess SDR metrics, provide ongoing feedback to stakeholders on agent and campaign performance (including contact rates, conversion rates, system usage, data management, standards and goals achievement). Provide feedback for reporting/dashboard improvements to benefit entire organization
  • Support product development efforts, by implement, testing and providing feedback on new product/service offerings.
  • Establish a fun, motivating teamwork environment for the SDR team and lead SDR recruitment efforts in conjunction with Human Resources and Operations to ensure high caliber talent acquisition.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience required.
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B outbound sales/call center management experience.
  • Sales or marketing experience a plus

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced role and facilitate innovation and creativity to generate ideas for quick response.
  • Solid understanding of sales techniques.
  • Solid understanding of tactical and strategic marketing methodologies
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to enthusiastically engage and motivate others.
  • Ability to employ good judgment, act with integrity, take ownership and accountability, and seek advice when necessary.
  • Skilled in use of computer software application programs: Word, Excel, Pivotal, Outlook.
  • Understanding Televerde’s product/service, strengths, weaknesses, vision, short & long-term business goals, current & future marketing plans.
