JOB TITLE:
Information Technology (IT) Support Specialist

SUPERVISOR’S TITLE:
IT Director

SALARY RANGE:
$40,000 – $45,000

GENERAL SUMMARY
:

Under general direction, has primary analytical responsibility for assigned IT projects.
Provides technical assistance to personnel involved in implementing computer systems. on assignment from the IT Director,

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
:

Provides technical assistance to personnel involved in implementing computer systems. on assignment from the IT Director.

Provides second level/tier two support services to enterprise information technology.

Analyzes facility work flows and makes recommendations as necessary.

Develops and presents training for end users.

Tests all phases of the system to ensure that user needs are met.

Identifies and corrects production problems.

Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION:

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree (Experience may substitute for Education
)

EXPERIENCE:

Must have 3years professional experience in computer programming, systems analysis, systems support and/or computer operating systems.

Experience with EMR strongly preferred

Knowledge of Hospital/Clinical setting a plus
