Information Technology Specialist

Position Summary:

· This position will be responsible for all facets of information technology including installing and maintaining servers, telephones, and computer equipment.

Essential Functions (duties):

· Install hardware software and device drivers on standalone computers and laptops

· Manage network configurations to ensure that all computers on a network can communicate effectively

· Test computers peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working appropriately

· Upgrade software, patches and operating systems on a continuous basis

· configure monitors, keyboards, printers, and cell phones

· Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on server, telephone server, and email exchange server

· Act as a technical resource in order to assist users with resolving computer issues

· Ensure that all computers are secured effectively by installing and updating antivirus software

· Analyze network problems and manage preventative maintenance procedures

· Add, delete, and maintain end users on server, phone server, and exchange server

· Maintain documentation of technical maintenance procedures carried out

· Maintain inventory of all technical equipment

· Assist in the development of reporting and other functionality for all systems used by the organization

· Perform tasks as assigned for other technical, hardware, and software needs of the organization

· Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience:

· Thorough knowledge of Microsoft networking as well as other hardware and software technology.

· Associates in Computer Science.

· Microsoft IT Professional Certification

Preferred Education and Experience:

Ability to work in a multitask environment.

Ability to accommodate serving as a resource for employees in resolving technology and equipment issues.

Prerequisites:

· Must be 21 years of age.

· Possess an Arizona driver’s license and state mandated auto insurance.

· Possess or be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.

· Must be able to pass a 5-panel drug screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $37,000.00 to $40,500.00 /year
