Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for strategy and design of controls system (hardware, software, telecommunications, infrastructure and/or information), testing strategy, standards and practices for enterprise, major organization or major platform. May define and manage project deliverables and work with the platform Centers of Competence (architecture, infrastructure & production support) teams ensuring adherence to processes and coherence standards. In the area of quality – responsible for managing application of appropriate quality and/or environmental management and process improvement techniques for a function or process. Develops, maintains, controls distribution of quality standards. Manages quality/testing of 3rd party partners.

Leading current migration and remediation efforts underway to consolidate the existing IT.

Act as expert advisor and mentor to IT team members on latest architecture principles and approach following existing company standards.

Focuses on ensuring IT Architectural standards are followed on all deployments and hardware refreshes.

Professional and positive approach in building relationships with IT and business leadership.

Additional Job Responsibilities:
May perform one or more of the following:
Directs the activities of an integrated hardware/software systems design function.

Plans and organizes the development of systems programming and operating system capabilities for the data processing facility to assure the interfacing of software systems with hardware configuration and applications system requirements.

Develops and implements system software and technical requirements for operating systems, compilers, and utility programs.

Evaluates current and projected hardware/software needs, and coordinates the installation of new operating systems.

Manages the planning and delivery of data warehouse architecture design services, providing sizing and configuration assistance, and performing needs assessments.

All other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills/Knowledge/Certification:
Experience with Cloud based technologies, integrations and design.

Experience with network technologies, integrations and design.

10+ year’s relevant working experience in complicated IT environments.

Experiences as technical lead for data center migrations and/or large refresh projects.

Experience influencing senior business and IT stakeholders

Strong written and verbal communication experience

Experience with VMware (Vcenter, SRM, ESXI)

Extensive knowledge of network, server, and storage hardware.

Knowledge of security standards, including; PCI,HIPPA, and NIST

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or similar on the job experience.
