Bilingual Customer Service – Construction & Packaging Supply Business

SouthernCarlson, a wholesale distributor of construction, industrial and packaging supplies, is seeking a high-energy, bilingual customer service representative to join our team in Pinemont. This is a full-time, Monday – Friday position. Hours will be 7 AM – 4:30 PM. No nights or weekends!!

Areas of Responsibility Include :

• Timely and accurate processing of orders
• Efficient response to customer inquiries via phone, email and on-site
• Administrative support for branch office
• Outside sales support
• Inside sales

Essential Qualifications include :

• MUST speak both English and Spanish
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience with proven track record of successfully servicing key customer accounts
• Previous retail experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in the construction or industrial supply industry is helpful
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter who presents a professional image and attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Quick learner and able to retain knowledge
• Intermediate computer skills including proficiency with MS Office and web navigation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of customer product on a regular basis and 100 pounds on occasional basis.
