IM/WM SAP Analyst

Summary: Supports corporate initiatives and business practices by maintaining and modifying the existing SAP system. Satisfies business needs through process analysis and system design to meet corporate objectives. Provides a business system that supports Rust-Oleum’s internal and external requirements and achievement of the revenue plan. Provides effective system modification and support to facilitate control and decision making.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures integrity of production system through maintenance of existing system functionality while initiating new SAP features. Implement new locations. Normalize SAP install in Rust-Oleum’s current business environment.
• Provide end user support and troubleshooting assistance through hands-on resolution. Ensure all issues are logged within agreed timeframe.
• Enhance current SAP environment through installations of hotpacks, projects and upgrades.
• Develop and administer test scripts.
• Author functional specifications, business process procedures for all programs and reports.
• Assist associates when installing or modifying integrated information system to ensure complete understanding.
• Conduct ongoing user training.
• Enhance business and system knowledge to effectively contribute to the IT organization.

Required Skills

• Degree in Information Systems, relevant business discipline or equivalent experience
• 3 years minimum SAP configurations including at least one go live
• Demonstrated configuration skills in designated SAP module, including go live and post implementation support
• Thorough understanding of the impact of an integrated system on the business processes
• Strong time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities as demonstrated by completion of tasks in compliance with deadlines
• Strong analytical skills as demonstrated by troubleshooting and end user support in a post go live environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self motivated with ability to play differing roles on functional team
