IBM VSE Cobol Programmer

Wilson-McShane Corporation, a third party administrator for Taft-Hartley benefit funds, has an opening for a full time COBOL Programmer / Analyst in an IBM VSE environment. This position will be located in our Kansas City, Kansas office.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Consults with supervisor, team members, and end users to gather program specifications including requirements, functionality, and features.
• Creates programs according to specifications from supervisor, team members, and end users.
• Writes and maintains program, process, and systems documentation.
• Designs and creates user interface screens, reports, and system interfaces.
• Maintains and modifies existing programs as necessary to implement corrections, modifications, and/or enhancements.
• Other duties as assigned.
