Human Resources Representative

Woodfords has an opening for a Full-time Human Resources Representative to provide high quality customer service and support to our organization’s staff, leadership and HR Team. Opportunities for successful, tech-savvy, HR-knowledgeable and customer service attuned individual to learn and grow within the HR field, and contribute to the Agency’s mission through supporting and providing customer service to the Agency and staff.

Responsibilities:
Provides day to day support of HR operations and initiatives, providing a superior level of HR internal and external customer care. Primary areas of accountability include administering FMLA and other Leaves of Absence; Workers’ Compensation, Benefits Administration support; assisting with benefit and payroll status change updates on payroll; supporting and facilitating safety initiatives and ergonomic workstation assessments; implementing Background Checks in support of Agency’s hiring and Licensing protocols; Electronic and other records retention and maintenance; participating in other employee relations initiatives as directed.

Qualifications: Associate’s degree and 2 plus years of related HR and benefits administration experience, including familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll, and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Tech savvy comfortable with everyday operating systems; robust computer skills to include strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and working knowledge of HR Information Systems (HRIS) software with the self-motivation to learn existing systems and apply technology as needed. Strong attention to detail and accuracy; excellent organizational skills. Positive and upbeat demeanor with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated diplomacy, discretion, and interest and capacity for delivering high quality customer service and HR team support. Able to work independently, exhibiting sound and appropriate judgement and confidentiality in handling all employee information and in dealing with sensitive matters. Solid problem solving skills. Demonstrated interest in continued HR learning and education. Understanding of federal and state regulations relating to employment and benefits.
