Human Resources Representative

Human Resources Generalist will report to the Sr. Manager-Human Resources and assist in the day-to-day operations and flow of work for the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Generalist will maintain, and update employee files and documentation as needed. Responsibilities also include providing support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave compensation and resolve any issues that may arise. Process paperwork for functional areas according to established procedures. OFS is a 24-hour operation, and this position will support days and mid-shift workers.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Generate headcount and recruiting status reports for management
  • Responsible for data management in ADP systems
  • Assist with system data entry necessary for processing employee time records, new hires, pay changes, promotions, transfers, FMLA, LOAs, and terminations
  • Responsible for reports including Headcount, Overtime, Safety and LOA management
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Manage temporary to regular hire program
  • Track performance appraisals and reconciling associated records
  • Gather and analyze data with HR metrics for daily and monthly review
  • Assist employee relations and investigations
  • Manage employee orientation and onboarding
  • Conduct HR projects as needed
  • All other duties as assigned

  • Excellent organizational and listening skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage confidential, complex issues to successful resolution.
  • Experience with an HRIS database (ADP & Vantage preferred).
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures.
  • Education

    Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration or relevant field

    Three years or more experience in Human Resources field
