Children’s Therapy Place (CTP) is a growing company with increasing need for innovative leaders in their profession. CTP provides speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling services, and behavioral and developmental supports to children and families in Idaho. The HR Generalist position requires someone with the knowledge and experience to advance our human resources department in expanding and supporting our dynamic team of professionals.

A qualified candidate will provide human resources support to CTP employees, interns, and volunteers. Essential to this position is the ability to be innovative and act as a team player to further CTP’s vision, including: attracting talented recruits and inspiring current staff to develop and grow with a company that provides essential and meaningful services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All aspects of recruiting for all departments – creating and posting job ads, reviewing applications, performing applicant screening and interviews, making recommendations to hiring managers, extending offers of employment, and replying to all candidates, as requested.
  • Conduct onboarding and orientation for all new hires, including training on HIPAA and CTP’s employee policies and procedures manual;
  • Ensure successful credentialing of new providers;
  • Create and maintain all past and current personnel files and QA tracking spreadsheets as necessary to comply with legal requirements, provider licensing requirements, and CTP policies;
  • Track CEU’s for current providers;
  • Maintain employee benefits programs, including tracking eligibility dates and enrollments, as well as organizing annual open enrollment communication and education/training to staff;
  • Create and update job descriptions, ensuring their alignment with performance reviews, as necessary;
  • Track performance appraisal due dates and notify supervisors of such;
  • Process employee separations, updating all records accordingly and conducting exit interviews;
  • Assist managers with handling and resolving employee discipline and grievances;
  • Serve as a communication liaison between management and all employees, as requested;
  • Organize and plan employee events, communication, and recognition programs;
  • Create and conduct employee satisfaction surveys, as requested;
  • Update external website and employee portal;
  • Manage intern and volunteer programs;
  • Plan and provide ongoing training to current employees, as requested;
  • Effectively communicate with all departments regarding all necessary aspects of HR;
  • Periodically update and improve Human Resources policies and procedures to maximize compliance and efficiency;
  • Keep written Human Resources Procedures current and updated at all times.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge of HR best practices, including but not limited to federal, state, and local laws;
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR specific role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business preferred.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Publisher).
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively prioritize in a busy office environment.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
