Human Resources Generalist

Full Range HR Generalist Position in an Outstanding Manufacturing Environment. This opportunity will involve daily interaction with all levels to identify and resolve issues while continually improving processes. Scope includes but is not limited to: Employee Relations, Supervisor Consulting, Staffing, HRIS Administration, FML Management, Reporting, and Contingent Staff Account Management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Partner with Operations Supervisors and Managers to ensure appropriate application of policies and procedures. 2. Promote a favorable working relationship and two-way communication with all employees to encourage a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement. 3. Counsel employees regarding job-related problems, company policies, procedures and disciplinary actions including terminations. Respond to employee inquiries and ad vise management of appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. 4. Conduct investigations including but not limited to: performance, discipline, hostile work environments and EEOC claims. 5. Recruit employees for hourly, clerical, and salaried positions. Write advertisements, screen resumes, conduct interviews and refer candidates to managers/supervisors for further screening. 6. Monitor LRC Training Needs Analysis; ensure accuracy and proper maintenance of Training Records. 7. Obtain and maintain a fundamental understanding of the LRC Operation and current status of the business. 8. Manage leaves of absence (FML, Worker’s Compensation, etc.). Including tracking, providing, and reviewing all the appropriate forms and follow-up with employees on status, while maintaining compliance with regulations. Notify third party administrator of disability claims in a timely manner and follow-up on status. 9. Create and maintain records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, performance reviews, terminations, and attendance as appropriate in accordance with Molex Policy and Procedures. 10. Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or related business degree.

1 years’ experience in a Human Resources role.

1 years’ experience as advanced Excel user (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, charting). Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management.

3 years’ experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment. Skills and Abilities:

Understanding of how to conduct effective investigations.

Ability to influence across multiple levels.

Ability to quickly build business partner relationships.

Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.

Strong analytical skills and ability to creatively solve problems.
