Compensation: Coordinates the maintenance of all staff job descriptions according to the common job description criteria
Maintains staff organizational charts
Assists with the annual increase process
Assists with salary surveys
Assists with the fiscal year end process
Benefits: Coordinates the worker’s compensation program and completes reporting
Coordinates the annual housing allowance process and mid-year addition requests
Audits, tracks, and processes vendor bills and associated benefits forms
Oversees tuition reimbursement process
Provides benefits orientations to applicants and new employees as needed
Payroll: Provides data entry assistance during high volume payroll months
Student Employment: Assists with the annual student employment hiring process
Customer Service: Serves as primary back-up to the Administrative Assistant
HRIS: In partnership with the Compensation and HRIS Manager, coordinates the ERP upgrade process
Required Skills
Proven proficiency working with complex relational databases or a working knowledge of Banner is preferred
Proven proficiency in Microsoft programs is required
Must have the ability to solve complex math problems
Must be a proven self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to balance multiple tasks in pressure situations
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner is essential
Required Experience
1+ years of professional experience, human resources experience preferred Required Education
Post-high school training/coursework required; Bachelor’s degree preferred Additional Information
Must be able to work in a sitting position using a computer for extensive periods of time
Overtime may be required
