Human Resources Associate

The Human Resource Associate position will work closely with the Head of HR and the HR team to facilitate the activities necessary to meet the HR and company objectives. The HR function was established in 2016 with a focus on hiring 200+ employees as we prepared to go commercial with our first drug. The small 4-person team has created and implemented all the current HR practices.

This newly created role will be a key member of the HR team and will interact with all levels of employees. This role is focused on serving internal customers to ensure a positive employee experience and will provide exposure and opportunity to all facets of HR. This position will be responsible for processing HRIS and payroll activities in addition to benefits administration, talent aquisition support and compliance tasks.

We are seeking candidates with the following attributes: Able to work through problems, can dig into the weeds, can handle tedious tasks with accuracy, can work with all levels within a company, can handle confidential information with grace and maturity, adept with system administration/management, problem solver, welcomes and incorporates feedback from employees, peers and manager, will take responsibility and own mistakes, can see the bigger picture, wants to know and understand context and how their tasks are linked to other tasks, willingness and desire to connect the dots between their role and the company’s mission.

We are seeking candidates with the following experience: Undergraduate degree and 2+ years’ HR experience in Life Sciences or similar regulated industry strongly preferred. Experience working with payroll and HRIS systems, ADP preferred. Demonstrated discretion in working with confidential and sensitive information. Benefits and or candidate/Talent Acquisition exposure a plus.
