Introduction
The storeman is responsible for daily tasks of the replenishing, organizing and processing of stock daily while ensuring ultimate levels efficiency and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Online orders are to be processed effectively and within set SLA to ensure customer satisfaction.

Specification
Administrative Service:

  • Ensure that orders are effective and efficient picked using the ERP system and that correct items are packed in such a way to prevent any damage while in transit.
  • Ensure that stock requests are received and closed daily.
  • Ensure that minimum qty stock levels are maintained daily.
  • Conduct daily stock checks to maintain accurate inventory levels with zero shrinkages.
  • Manage returns and ensure the process is completed (credits) checked and moved back to inventory.

    • Customer Satisfaction:

  • Ensure a high standard of support is maintained by responding and resolving queries telephonically or on electronic mail.
  • Communicate any issues / concerns to the Manager / Supervisor immediately and ensure the problem is resolved.
  • Assist contracted Logistics Partner with processing and tracking where required.

    • Housekeeping:

  • Keep work area neat & tidy always
  • Maintain organized stock allocation and staging.

    • Requirements
    Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric
  • Experience in inventory control
  • Must be computer literate

    • Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good knowledge of general administrative processes, policy and procedure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good people skills
