Specification

Purpose of the job:
To identify and provide Barberton Mines (Pty) Limited with relevant Human Resource Management interventions which will assist the organisation to attain its objectives.

Main Role Outcomes:

To identify and provide relevant Human Resource interventions which will assist the organization to attain its objectives.

Ensure the Mine Health and Safety Act, 1996 (Act No.29 of 1996) safety and health standards are maintained.

Ensure and enabling organisational climate/culture.

Manage labour stability by implementing appropriate labour management practices.

Manage performance against set targets and competencies.

Conduct career discussions and implement actions with all identified talent.

Ensure discipline is maintained within the organisation.

Provide Coaching and counselling to people to ensure improved performance levels.

Conduct recruitment interviews.

Customer Relations.

Manage Recruitment, Selection and Assessment processes.

Ensure that relevant HR Policies, Procedures and Systems are implemented and adhered to.

Employee Retention.

Requirements

Degree or Technikon Diploma in Human Resources.

At least 7 years general HR experience.

5 years HR Management experience on management level within the Mining Industry.

Sage 300 People experience would be advantageous.

Experience in SACO Time and Attendance System.
