Collaborate with HR functional partners to execute human resources strategies to enable business objectives and support future business growth. Responsibility for redesigning recognition processes to streamline the manual efforts and increase efficiencies

Design and execute strategies in support of DCL Talent Management including organizing and ensuring successful continuous delivery of DCL onboarding orientation

Provide strategic HR leadership and consultation focused on creating innovative HR strategies to anticipate and access emerging business, organization or people trends, and identify and implement the appropriate HR/DI solutions for client groups

Increase organization, team and individual performance to improve the business’s capabilities to deliver against its goals through administration of the Crew file technology system. This includes providing partnership, guidance, and integrating across multiple lines of business

Lead the Crew engagement strategy for recognition efforts during shipboard construction project work

Provide leadership with expertise of D Learn capabilities to enhance ownership and accountability across the organization. Lead redesign and effective execution of HR training and development content fleet wide

Proven experience in managing multiple projects with strong prioritization skills

Minimum 3 years HR related experience

Demonstrated proficiency with Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SAP

Demonstrated strong written communication skills and grammar skills

Demonstrated strong facilitation, problem solving and decision making skills

Proven ability to maintain confidential information

Demonstrated client service and strong relationship skills

Knowledge SharePoint, and HR Policies and Practices

Demonstrated HR experience within the WDPR organization

Ability to work in/support a team environment

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

The HR Specialist for Disney Cruise Line is the main point of service contact for client related questions and business issues including but not limited to HR policies, processes, leaves of absence, corrective actions, and staffing needs. This role is expected to assess, prioritize and act on client and shipboard requests as needed and communicate needs that require additional support to the appropriate source (i.e. Employee Relations, Compensation, Recruitment, Disney University, etc.). Additionally, the HR Specialist is also responsible for proactively providing support to local HRBP’s for organization and cast effectiveness including but not limited to on-boarding, recognition programs, change management and data driven reporting.
