HR Coordinator, Volunteer and Internship Program

Fraser is looking for an Human Resources Coordinator who will support the coordination and administration of initiatives and projects in our Volunteer and Internship program. This role assists in processing and placing of volunteers, conducting volunteer orientation, leading volunteer projects, and supporting special events both onsite and administratively. Responsibilities:
The HR Coordinator will provide support in the volunteer database, play a roll in communicating with volunteer applicants, and conduct their volunteer orientation. This position also acts as onsite support for volunteer projects, programs, and special events.

Location:
Richfield, MN as well as events out in the community

Available schedule:
This position is 30 hours per week and must have availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • No previous experience required.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to achieve and maintain status of “may provide direct contact for this agency” upon completion of criminal background studies.
  • Must have valid Minnesota driver’s license and maintenance of an acceptable driving record, consistent with Fraser’s policy on driving and safety.
  • Computer proficiency in keyboarding skills, data entry, and using various programs including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
  • Provides excellent customer service with empathy, helpfulness, and collaborates in a caring and professional manner.
  • Effective communication in the English language, including verbal and written communication with both internal and external contacts required.
  • Ability to travel to pick up/drop off materials and attend volunteer projects/events.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail required.
  • Must have flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends
