HR Coordinator

Provides support to employees in regards to benefits and payroll. Support local leadership in processing organizational changes and carrying-out HR processes
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Process paperwork for new hires & terminations, job changes, department changes/allocations, salary changes and employee name changes
  • Audit biweekly payroll registers to ensure employee changes complete and payroll processed correctly
  • Complete employee verification of employment (VOE)s that can’t be completed via The Work Number
  • Provide Safety Managers necessary payroll information for Workman’s Compensation claims and coordinate with FMLA
  • Support recruiting activities including college recruiting, job postings, and interview tracking.
  • Serve as a backup for Taleo/Career Builder job postings and application and background check processing
  • Coordinate meetings as needed
  • Generate and distribute HR-related reports
  • Assist Safety Managers with annual OSHA reporting
  • Generate and distribute HR-related reports
  • Update, maintain and distribute organizational charts
  • First line of defense in addressing and resolving employee relations issues (benefits, comp, ethics)
  • Oversee eTime usage including directing manager’s on PT/Temp policies
  • Manage HR responsibilities as relates to Resident Ambassador and internship programs
  • Update/ensure employment poster requirements are current
  • Answer routine questions regarding benefits, payroll, and HR policies/procedures
  • Coordinate employee programs related to HR on an as needed basis (i.e. Wellness)
  • Provide additional support during key HR initiatives (i.e,. Gallup, HRP open enrollment, year-end planning)
  • Maintain employee personnel file information
  • Assists HR team with various research projects and/or special projects
  • Maintain and track compensation actions

Qualifications


REQUIRED EDUCATION
:
(degree, licenses, certifications, etc.)
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
(work related, tools/equipment, software, etc.):
  • Related Functional Experience: Minimum 3-5 years experience in a Human Resources-related role and a continued education related to HR topics
  • Strong foundational knowledge of HR processes and payroll
  • Intermediate to advanced ability in Powerpoint and Excel
  • Knowledge of HRIS, Sharepoint, Taleo preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow up skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
