HR Administrator

Job Description
The Human Resource Administrator’s role is there to provide day to day human resource administrative support and contribute to the long-term development of the HR function by supporting in the administration of Talent, Leave, Employee Relations, HR policies and support as well as payroll as and where needed.
Duties & Responsibilities

Talent administration • Provide all recruitment administration support for A and B Band appointments • Ensure all reference and criminal record checks are carried out fully and in a timely manner across all Bands • Announcements – new appointments. • Manage the new joiner process from offer letter through to joining instructions and induction. • Administer the probationary review periods where applicable Leave Administration • Manage the leave administration process and provide advice of leave to be taken • Handle maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave processes and queries. Payroll administration • Updating daily clockings on TBest-time system/ Excel • Capturing overtime + allowances on payroll spreadsheet and process to Payroll • Liaise with payroll and timeously distribute payslips Employee relations • Consolidate IR monthly report and record disciplinary proceedings on SAP system • Provide support in investigations for disciplinary and grievance procedures Policies and HR support • Provide HR support and advice to employees and line managers, explaining policies and procedures in a timely and effective manner • Distribute/disseminate policies and convey related communication • Answer all channelled HR administration-related queries from employees and managers in the business and ensure their resolution in accordance with service standards • Liaison with clinic and the booking of all entry, exit medicals General HR Administration • Process medical aid / fund entries and withdrawals • Process death and disability claim documents • Maintain the personnel filing system and safeguard the files and documentation • Maintain data integrity & confidentiality of employee files • Administer employee/study loan and bursary documentation • Manage the integrity of Organizational Charts • Completing UIF documents •Capture and administer all workflows General Administration • Files and scans documentation • Co-ordination of Let’s Talk application •Taking minutes in meetings as requested • Receiving and arranging courier for parcels to be collected and received • Arrange/Coordinate functions as requested • Types and circulates memo’s and correspondence on request of Managers •Administer and distribute ESOP, Medical and Provident Fund documentation
Minimum Requirements

Diploma in Human Resource Management Valid drivers’ licence 2 years experience in a similar environment
