HP BSM Consultant (Remote)

The Consultant will be responsible for hands-on configuration of HP BSM Product Suite as well as design and implementation of dashboards. Consultant should be proficient and experienced in the following HP BSM Product Suite components:

• Operations Manager I (OMi)Providing a Monitoring Dashboard through intelligent grouping of dependencies and Application groups in virtualized and dedicated environments.
• Monitoring Automation – Configure Operations Agent and OMi to Sitescope / Openview Network Node Manager (NNMi)Integration of a Network Management Dashboard through the integration and reporting of Fault, Availability, and Performance metrics for devices on the network.
• Network Performance Smart Plug-In (NNM PerfSpi) – Monitor overall Network Performance metrics through Network Node ManagerNetwork Node Manager QASPI – Monitor QoS performance and levels through NNMi dashboard Configuration Management Database System, Universal Discovery (UCMDB with UD).
• Integrate and implement a Universal Configuration Management Database for devices under management. This will include discovery of new devices and services on the network as they are instantiated.
• Service Health Reporter (SHR) Integrate Health Monitoring of Underlying Infrastructure to Services and their dependencies by group.
• Operations Orchestration (OO)Implement automated processes in response to monitoring events.
• Business Service Management Connector (BSM-C) Integrate the BSM Dashboard with NNMi: OO, BPM, and UCMDB dashboards / metrics.

Key Requirements

• 3-5 years hands on HP BSM and SiteScope Installation and Configuration experience
• Thorough understanding of SNMP v2 and v3
• 5-7 years Scripting Language (Any)
• Linux Administration Skills (RHEL / CentOS)
• Understanding and Implementation of Level 5-7 Devices (OSI)
