Housekeeper/Maid

The Minte, a hotel- style, employee friendly housekeeping company is looking to hire full and part time professional Housekeepers required to clean apartments within a set building in downtown Chicago.

The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our clients that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation.

Full time position will be 9a.m. – 5p.m. Monday through Friday.

Apartments size will range from studio to 3 bedrooms with 1 to 2 bathrooms.

Housekeeper will provide two styles of clean: a traditional / deep clean as well as quicker hotel / style clean.

Responsibilities:

– Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping,vacuuming, dusting, polishing, cleaning bathrooms and kitchen

– Changing and laundering linen

– Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to The Minte standards

– Deal with reasonable complains/requests with professionalism and patience

– Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate

– Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any The Minte related practices

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper

– Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

– Customer- oriented and friendly

– Prioritization and time management skills

– Working quickly without compromising quality

– Knowledge of English language

– High school degree

– Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 /hour

Experience:

• housekeeping: 4 years (Required)
• hotel-style housekeeping: 2 years (Required)
