Hospital Call Center Phone Operator

Full Time Schedule

Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

Do you want to start a career with Northern Virginia’s leading healthcare system? This is a Call Center position for Inova Health. This role must demonstrate ability to effectively operate hospital based telecommunications systems. Provides telecommunication support to patient, staff, physicians and community. Properly responds to all alarms and emergency situations. Responds to and reports telecommunications equipment failure. Performs other duties for specific operating unit telecommunications department.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

Over one year of experience or more with telecomm operations.

Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.

Nursing School experience highly valuable for this role.

Ability to communicate distinctly, good hearing, basic keyboard skills, and excellent customer service skills required.
