Remote Support Specialist Additional Job Description :

Serves as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related problems. Support entails resolving hardware/software computing issues/requests remotely via telephone and remote tools. Candidates should have prior Service Desk & desktop support experience; successful track record of supporting software and hardware in a networked computing environment; experience with supporting customers remotely; customer service focus; excellent oral and written communication skills (particularly phone skills and etiquette); exhibit professionalism; team-oriented attitude; excellent research and problem solving skills; self-starter; high quality of work ethics; knowledge of Active Directory, MS Exchange, Remedy, experience supporting Windows 10, MS Office 2013, Apple Mobile Devices, Cisco VPN Client, Cisco VOIP support.

There are quite a myriad of tasks and responsibilities included in the role of Remote Support Specialist, such as:

  • Provides technical support to users for moderately complex computer related technical problems on a primary account
  • Enters tickets into the call tracking tool; ensures information is accurate, prioritized and assigned to a queue

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $15.00 /hour

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • IT help desk: 4 years
