Help Desk Billing Administrator

Position Available: Help Desk Billing Administrator

Position Overview:

The SCI Help Desk Billing Administrator plays a critical role in supporting our Help Desk Technicians. The Technicians field calls from customers needing technical support for various businesses technologies nationwide. The Help Desk Technicians troubleshoot the technical issues and if necessary, dispatch internal or subcontracted service technicians to the customer location to resolve the customer’s issues. The Help Desk Administrator assists the effort by creating work orders, identifying resources, gathering job related paperwork including completed work orders, time sheets, invoices from subcontractors, etc, all with the goal of ensuring the work has been satisfactorily completed and culminating in an accurate and timely invoice to our customer. Expectation of 30 hours per week on a full-time basis.

Successful Candidates will have:

  • 2 to 3 years of administrative experience in an office environment
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable with numbers, exposure to basics of cost, mark-up and margin a plus
  • Customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers of varying technical knowledge
  • Ability to multi-task is a MUST
  • Strong organization skills, especially the ability to keep paperwork in order
  • The ability to conform to changing priorities and demands in a calm & timely manner
  • Aptitude & demonstrated desire to learn new technologies
  • Great Plains/Microsoft Dynamics experience would be greatly beneficial
  • Exposure to service industry a plus
