Healthcare Programmer Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:

Use your operational analytical skills to design/develop, program, maintain and publish reports
Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers
You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with some very interesting and complex issues
As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience performing complex data analysis and report development
2+ years of experience working with large data sets
Intermediate level of programming knowledge (reporting code) and of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse
Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
Intermediate proficiency in SAS

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree
Experience with healthcare related data (Claims/Eligibility/Providers)
Solid understanding of Medicare Risk Adjustment
Experience working with ICD10, CPT codes
Ability to troubleshoot large data sets
Self-starter and ability to work within a team or independently
Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
