Healthcare Programmer Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Use your operational analytical skills to design/develop, program, maintain and publish reports
  • Make solid recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results for both internal operations and our customers
  • You must be self-directed and creative as you will deal with some very interesting and complex issues
  • As a key resource to others you must maintain a high degree of accuracy along with attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to always meet deadlines

Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience performing complex data analysis and report development
  • 2+ years of experience working with large data sets
  • Intermediate level of programming knowledge (reporting code) and of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse
  • Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
  • Intermediate proficiency in SAS
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with healthcare related data (Claims/Eligibility/Providers)
  • Solid understanding of Medicare Risk Adjustment
  • Experience working with ICD10, CPT codes
  • Ability to troubleshoot large data sets
  • Self-starter and ability to work within a team or independently
  • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
