Health Information Analyst

The HIM Analyst organizes and evaluates patient medical records and health information; reviews medical records for accuracy and completeness; responsible for filing, scanning and retrieving medical records; ensures all medical records are released according to HIPAA guidelines.

Experience: A minimum one (1) year experience in healthcare setting with in-depth knowledge of health information management preferred.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Exceptional organizational, interpersonal communication, customer service, critical-thinking skills; knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of health information management; familiar with functions, capabilities and operation of computer-based health information management systems.
