Head of Channel Partnerships (WME)

Influential, an A.I. influencer technology and developer partner of IBM Watson, is looking for an experienced Channel Manager to leverage high level relationships and become a champion of our product and offering. Based out of LA, the ideal candidate will have a desire to learn about our product, sales positioning and approach, and work collaboratively with our operations and tech teams.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Our Channel Manager will be a hands-on and critical part of maintaining and expanding key partnerships with talent agencies, responsible for driving growth, happiness, and retention among our base of partners. This role will be working to provide exceptional consultation and support to a diverse portfolio of talent management partners at scale.

The Channel Manager will manage relationships and be responsible for all post-sale growth and knowledge sharing to help our partners navigate new product offerings. Additionally, they’ll be the go-to advisor and liaison between our talent management partners and internal teams at Influential.

  • Own relationships with partners; developing, growing, and proactively supporting.

  • Communicate the value of Influential technology and product offering to show ongoing ROI to our talent management partners. Develop Influential performance story, communicating effectively with data at scale.

  • Provide operational guidance to talent management partners to help them grow their business with Influential. Proactively assess, clarify, and validate partner needs on
    an ongoing basis.

  • Generate new business, upsell opportunities and product offerings to existing partners to increase revenue and partner satisfaction.

  • Act as the ultimate point of escalation for resolution of any potential conflicts.

  • Manage and coordinate all cross-functional operations across campaign management, sales, product and all other service resources to meet partner performance objectives and expectations.

Here’s what we’d like to see:

  • Proven track record (7+ years experience) of generating new business, increasing revenue, and successfully growing relationships through account management and business development.

  • Ability to think strategically and analyze needs of talent partners to both unlock opportunities and problem-solve creatively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for diverse customer needs at scale.

  • Demonstrate time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize based on impact.

  • Passion and deep understanding of talent management and influencer landscape.
