Guest Service Representative/Front Desk

Essential Functions:

  • Give tours to potential guests and be able to close the sale
  • Check in guests with reservations along with walk-ins who do not have reservations.
  • Conduct a PMS system audit at 8am of following morning to the previous business day.
  • Ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
  • Respond to requests from immediate supervisor. Follow-up with immediate supervisor on a regular basis.
  • Wash, dry, and fold laundry as directed by management. Prepare bedpacks for the next day’s use.
  • Responsible for proper administration of keys.
  • Responsible for knowing property emergency procedures and emergency shut-off guides.
  • Responsible for knowing area attractions and services in order to accommodate guest’s needs.
  • Inspect studios when needed, according to quality standards for cleanliness and proper preventative maintenance.
  • Maintains a professional business appearance, attitude and performance.
  • Prep and clean any additional rooms that were not cleaned during the previous shifts.
  • Depending on position assigned, additional duties may include stocking, cleaning of public areas, light maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned by Property Manager.

Qualifications:

  • One-year experience in customer service but hotel operations preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bi-lingual preferred; must speak English
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure, with strong organizational time management skills and problem solving skills.
  • Proactive and aggressive in solving problems, experienced in recognizing and taking action on opportunities, and developing a strong team.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Light maintenance duties.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $10.00 /hour
