Ivy Boutique Hotel in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood is seeking for Full time/Part Time Front Desk Day/Evening availability applicants.

Position Description

As a front desk agent, you are often the guest’s first encounter, creating an interaction and setting the tone for an upcoming stay. A true representation of the hotel’s unique brand. Your warm greeting, friendly smile, personable nature, and eagerness to assist, all play a key role in dealing with travelers and their requests. Here you’ll have many opportunities to bring joy to someone’s day.

Requirements:

• Check in and check out of hotel guests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Provide that critical first impression to our guests and have a natural passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Welcome and serve guests in person and over the phone.
• Enjoy solving problems.
• Be comfortable using a computer and various software programs.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and confidently.
• Proficiency in the English language. Able to read, write and communicate clearly with guests and fellow staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $14.00 to $16.00 /hour
