Grocery Merchandiser/Outside Sales Rep

Established company seeking a responsible self starter centrally located south of Atlanta, preferably around Peachtree City/Fayetteville, GA to service supermarkets from a territory consisting of travel between Atlanta, Macon and Columbus.

This position involves a lot of daily travel and driving! You must have a clean driving record to be considered. Living geographically close to the territory available is necessary.

Must have:

Grocery Experience – 2 Years

Merchandising Experience – 2 years

Job Details and Responsibilities:

Covering routes each day based on the schedule provided. Early morning start time is necessary (4-5AM). You will visit all stores on the route recovering invoices, merchandising product, and ordering for the following visit. You are expected to maintain Company inventory levels and merchandising standards, executing all direction given by the Company, keeping stores clean, and properly communicating all store level issues to your Team Leader for direction. You will also communicate with the corporate office at days end to reconcile paperwork. Selling seasonal displays to stores and building the shippers is also a responsibility.

This is a full-time position typically from Monday through Friday.

Starting Salary : $35,000

Company Benefits :

Company vehicle, expenses paid for gas and maintenance.All equipment necessary for servicing stores (phone and scanner)

After 90 days: Eligible to participate in health insurance, supplemental insurances, 401k, and paid holidays (6).

Vacation: Begins accruing after 90 days. Starts at 1 week per year. After 3 years, 2 weeks per year
