Graphics Artist – CNN International

What part will you play?
A Graphic Artist must be able to design and produce still and animated graphics in addition to other design elements as assigned by the Creative Directors, Design Directors or Production Designers. They must effectively evaluate and manage time, resources and deadlines to produce desired products – individually and as part of a team. They must possess the ability to work with Creative Directors, Design Directors, co-workers and show production staff to determine needs and facilitate execution of projects. The ideal Graphic Artist candidate will have extensive knowledge of Mac OSX based software like Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. They must have the ability to quickly learn and utilize other technologies such as the vizRt automated graphics system and Cinema 4D. Our department supports both CNN International and CNN en Español.

What do we require from you?

• Degree from accredited art school with emphasis in multi-platform graphic design and composition, illustration, visual communications or related field, or equivalent work experience, with demonstrated knowledge of graphic design.
• Creativity, organization, maturity and ability to meet specific deadlines under stressful production conditions. Knowledge of related graphic design systems such as Macintosh computer systems.
• Ability to work with, and take direction from others.
• Ability to work varied hours as required to produce finished products.
