Graphic Designer/Marketing Associate

An online portfolio is required for this position.

You are a designer that knows the in’s and out’s of the creative process. You are organized, detailed, and can manage a project from start to finish. You think big. You follow the latest trends in design and technology. You are proficient in Adobe’s Creative Cloud software and have experience working in a fast-paced environment.

OVERVIEW

We are a fast paced in house marketing team supporting Portland’s top commercial real estate brokers. Emphasis is on designing client/market share maps, proposal books, presentation graphics, print & digital collateral, branding, and marketing centers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Design and produce visual marketing materials, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, boards, proposals, new business presentations, invitations, websites, info graphics, maps, marketing center graphics, and banners.
  • HTML email creation and maintenance
  • Website design and maintenance
  • Handle all projects from start to finish
  • Perform general marketing tasks, as needed
  • Act as steward of the firm’s brand and visual graphic standards
  • Provide exceptional client service, taking on full ownership of assigned projects
  • Request bids from vendors as needed and coordinate fulfillment
  • Keep files organized, and be ready to share internally
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Keep up-to-date knowledge of current design methodologies and business-to-business marketing trends, as well as social media.
  • Manage vendor relationships (e.g., printers, photographers)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic/Digital Design/Visual Communications
  • 2+ years of design experience in an agency or in-house marketing environment
  • Experience managing projects from start to finish
  • Motion graphics and video experience, a plus
  • Social media management, a plus
  • Eloqua experience, a plus
  • Workfront experience, a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud apps (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver)
  • Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Outlook, etc)
  • Print production knowledge
  • Confident in your design skills
  • Able to build/edit HTML emails
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Problem solver
  • Works well independently with little supervision
  • Client facing
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills
  • Strong project management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to work across different groups, personalities and experience levels
