Graphic Designer – Marketing (Contract)

Upthere is looking for a graphic designer to join our close-knit marketing team. We thrive on creating engaging content that delights our users. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated and wants to make a big impact. Our ideal candidate is available to work between 20-30 hours per week in our office in the heart of downtown Redwood City.

Responsibilities:

• Create compelling marketing materials, including websites, emails, and ads
• Establish consistent creative direction for our brand
• Collaborate with marketing and engineering to test and iterate on designs
• Seamlessly convert ideas into images, layouts, and other designs

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design for consumer software companies
• Strong portfolio of digital work that displays how you’ve optimized websites, emails, ad campaigns, and other marketing collateral
• Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or other design tools

Bonus points:

• Photography, videography, or illustration skills
• Working knowledge of CSS, HTML and JavaScript
• Experience working with SendGrid
