Graphic Designer (Contract)

Position Summary: Become a member of Earth Fare’s first-class marketing team! The Graphic Designer will execute the visual creative voice for Earth Fare through art design and copy layout; working with internal teams to bring merchandising and marketing programs to life through print and digital channels. The position is a three month assignment at Earth Fare Home Office, with the possibility of contract work to follow.

Essential Functions

Print Design

Prepare print collateral accurately for pre-press production, meeting the constraints of cost, time, and existing branding.

Utilize existing design templates and artwork to efficiently complete day-to-day activities.

Develop original designs for events, company, and category programs, using creative briefs as primary guidance.

Digital Design

Create digital-centric marketing elements, including artwork for emails, web pages, and social media.

Comfort using templates and web-based graphics.

Prepare and optimize digital designs for upload to email, web or social.

Collaborative, Detailed-Oriented and Creative Thinker

Think creatively, contributing ideas to enhance marketing campaigns and associated design work.

Manage multiple quality design projects from start to finish.

Ability to self-manage to keep projects on track and meet deadlines, without compromising the demands of a high-output team.

Stay up-to-date in terms of industry trends in design, branding, and software.

Other Duties as Assigned

Take digital photographs for product imagery library; manipulate, color correct, and optimize images for print and web.

Attend design and marketing meetings.

Required Skills

Must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment.

Must function well as part of a strong team that thrives on collaboration and a team mentality.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications on a PC platform a must.

Ideal candidate will have experience with production design and html.

Experience with motion graphics, After Effects and video editing a plus.
