GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The primary responsibilities of the Graphic Designer position are to develop and maintain print and digital design elements for Colony NorthStar’s institutional funds and investments. The role will be the local Los Angeles representative of the marketing department located in Denver, CO and will serve as the LA office’s point person for graphic design support while also providing

greater support across the organization as requested.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creative briefs related to materials, in an effort to understand the project scope and expectations
• Design and maintain marketing materials associated with NorthStar’s institutional funds.
• Collateral includes, but is not limited to: investment brochures, flyers, e-blasts, web banners, advertisements and PowerPoint presentations
• Design and maintain marketing materials for special events and promotions including, but not limited to invitations, conference material and promotional items
• Manage printers and vendors to ensure budget and brand is maintained
• Assist the marketing team with marketing, brainstorming and advertising strategies
• Help continue to build a unified Colony NorthStar brand by utilizing company brand standards across all channels
• Manage and maintain graphic files, including photos, logos and art
• Perform general office clerical duties; including routing materials for approval and filing all approved marketing material

Education and Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design and marketing
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator,
• PowerPoint and Microsoft Office
• Website design & HTML knowledge is a strong advantage
• Experience with brand management, corporate style guides & elements of design
• Commercial Real Estate experience a plus, but not required.
