Best Coupons Magazine, a regional ad agency is looking for a graphic designer.

Should have a basic understanding of web design and comfortable working with CMS websites like WordPress.

Top considered applicants should have at least 2 years experience working with clients and commercial businesses after education in the media industry. Projects to include variety of print collateral and graphics for video and web.

Duties / Functions / Responsibilities

Work with Sales and Marketing Teams to create new and edit existing advertisements, catalogs, business cards, logo design, brochure design / layout, print design, social media graphics, web graphics, video design etc.

Assist Sales and Marketing teams in determining correct design and material to go along with messaging and product.

Choose relevant stock images or assist with photography shoots as needed.

Adhere to the highest confidentiality standards.

Any other creative project that has ever been dreamed about – (Seems easy huh?)

Assist with special events, communications and multi-media as needed.

Work directly with clients to complete marketing efforts as requested.

Work occasionally with the web design team to create, edit, manage internal and client websites.

Create artwork and post on social media ad campaigns as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Have a minimum of one year of training or equivalent experience.

Be proficient with computer design and office automation tools such as Adobe CS applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Acrobat), and Microsoft Office applications.

Be self motivated and able to work independently.

A portfolio demonstrating graphic design skills and projects for review (preferably online).

Video editing and graphics preferred but not a must

Preferred candidates will have some knowledge of art/photo/video and design

Desire to learn new software

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Must be comfortable following direction and implementing changes based on constructive criticism.

Must also be comfortable reviewing designs and giving constructive criticism

Ability to work independently, but also thrive in a team environment
