Graphic Designer

The Design Department at Terakeet works collaboratively with internal teams to bring marketing campaigns together through creative design, ultimately communicating topically rich material to varying audiences. The Graphic Designer will report to the Design Director and will posses the ability to think strategically, and generate effective, results-driven creative. They will have a strong balance in their approach for media responsiveness and an ability to identify audience emotion and behavior.

Responsibilities Include:

• Conceptualize and create intuitive and engaging concepts for online/offline marketing collateral to visually achieve internal or client specific goals and objectives
• Interpret project needs, gather requirements, and think creatively to develop ideas and solutions to design challenges
• Effectively communicate with internal teams to ensure that the visual design communicates the desired brand message
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members on the conceptual direction of each deliverable, driving projects from conceptualization through to completion
• Share insight and stay up-to-date with modern trends / design techniques

Required skills
Preferred Skills and Attributes Include:

• 3 years of professional design experience with a strong portfolio of web, interactive, and traditional design projects
• Experience with UI/UX design and usability across device mediums
• A strong understanding of design software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Ability to understand the importance of the user experience, engagement, and conversion as it pertains to digital assets
• Ability to create and iterate on assets that reflect the defined aesthetics of a brand.Ability to juggle several projects at once and prioritize tasks to successfully meet deadlines
• Comfortable presenting in group settings and directly to any/all levels of an organization
• Strong desire to succeed; self-motivated and willing to take on challenges
• Desire to assume growth in responsibility in line with company growth
