Graphic Designer

Craft Smith (www.craftsmithco.com, instagram.com/craftsmithco/) is a craft and hobby company that works with large craft stores like Michaels. We’re growing and looking for talented illustrators and graphic designers to add to our design team.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing products for the craft and party industry
• Collaborating with other team members, and making sure that the best products are being put out onto the market.
• Press readying
• Mocking up products to make sure they are functional
• Giving creative feedback to team members
• Staying up to date with trends, blogs and the marketplace
• Helping with marketing as required

Qualifications

• Passionate about design and upto date on trends and the industry.
• Detail oriented and organized, and work well with other designers to ensure the successful development of concepts.
• 3 years experience in design or illustration
• Strong typography and lettering skills. Photography and styling skills are a plus.
• Ideally a BFA in graphic design or illustration. However, portfolio and resume are the ultimate determination in hiring.
• In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.

**We are not looking for 3D modelling at this time.
