Graphic Designer

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this position will assist in the design and development of marketing collateral to support both the promotional and communication needs of the Product Management and Sales’ Teams. This position requires a highly creative person who is capable of managing a wide variety of projects from concept through to production while maintaining excellent attention to detail and the highest standards of design.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for assisting with the design layout and content for specific print and electronic communications,
  • Has the ability to edit and proof content and be held accountable for the technical accuracy,
  • Has the ability and expertise to prepare files for print production,
  • Assists in the use and application of the company’s branding and graphic style standards while ensuring appropriate usage across the organization and through external vendors,
  • Deliver’s cost-effective solutions that creatively and strategically promote the Company’s products and services,
  • Supports multimedia efforts as assigned,
  • Assists in enhancing the website experience, making it both visually inspiring with the creation of high-quality imagery and informative with the development of a monthly blog.
  • Generates new design ideas to refresh existing marketing materials.
  • Utilizes software to develop customer-focused email marketing campaigns,
  • Supports the ongoing creation of social media content,
  • Employs excellent copywriting skills to create press releases, product bulletins, and internal memos, and
  • Provide on-going marketing support to the Sales team and Branches.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design/arts, or related field,

Minimum 3 years’ applicable work experience. Design industry experience is preferred, tile industry a plus.

Strong proficiency and fluency in the following programs: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office with a desire and ability to learn other software programs as required, including WordPress, email marketing software, CRM database management, plus AS400 and Valence (Company software).

  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with excellent attention to detail,
  • Ability to read and understand information presented verbally and in writing and to communicate concepts clearly and in a timely fashion,
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directives,

  • Ability to meet deadlines consistently,
  • Ability to multi-task,
  • Strong analytical skills,
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced environment with varied responsibilities, and
  • Able to adapt to changing needs and priorities.

This is a virtual position supporting locations throughout the country, with the Marketing Manager being located in Orlando. If you are close to one of our many branches, you may also utilize the branch as needed.

Must be able to pass a background check and a drug and alcohol test and physical.
