Graphic Designer

ECS Federal, LLC (ECS) is seeking a Graphic Designer to work in our Silver Spring, MD office.

Job Description:

ECS Federal, LLC has an immediate opening for a graphic designer to support the NOAA Office of the Chief Financial Officer.

Specific activities include:

• Designing a variety of web- and print-based communications materials, such as reports, fact sheets, presentations, infographics, and more. There may also be opportunities for web design.
• Developing templates consistent with NOAA branding.
• Working closely with content experts to ensure quality products are produced that meet deadlines.
• Developing an improved workflow for communications products (from concept to execution) to best suit office needs.
• Using a clean, modern style that serves to elevate complex written content. Content will be about performance, risk management, and social sciences, in the context of a large federal science agency.
• Reformatting written content and flow as needed to improve readability.
• Being proactive and forward-thinking in assessing and addressing office communications material needs.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree
  
• Five years of experience in graphic design
• Knowledge and experience using:
• Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
• Microsoft Office Programs (specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Google Suite (specifically Google Sites, Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Drive)
