PPC has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer in McLean, VA. The Graphic Designer must provide support to senior leadership and project leads with branding, logos, publications, promotional materials, briefings, posters, interactive/multimedia, publications and web graphics. Must be highly motivated and able to work well independently and as part of a team.

The Graphic Designer must develop original and creative graphic artwork in a variety of media to support publication requirements with a primary emphasis on proposals. Use software such as the Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint to mock up and execute designs. Produce a variety of artwork, including: proposal covers, technical illustrations, and a variety of proposal graphics. Create presentation briefings for project and proposal leads. Perform conceptual and visualization work.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into modern, stylish, accessible visuals.

Understanding of Branding and Visual Identity; experience defining style and designing for communications campaignsCreate and edit briefings in Microsoft PowerPoint, to include creating templates and graphicsAbility to use large format printers, copiers, laminators, binding machines, and other equipment.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Ability to interface with senior leaders, peers and support elements in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication

Basic Qualifications: The qualified candidate will possess the following skills, experience and education: Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, graphic design, or related field or equivalent course work and related experienceStrong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Master Suite to include Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.Ability to create templates, graphics, and animation in PowerPoint.Able to handle constructive criticism of workDeadline oriented and able to work in a fast paced environmentMust be customer focusedDetailed oriented and able to multi-process.

Must possess skills and experience necessary to produce original designs and custom layouts for presentations, briefs, publications, and other content for interactive multimedia products.

Additional Nice-to-Haves: Web Development Abilities: 3 to 5 years of experience with using HTML and CSS, including CSS frameworks, such as Bootstrap or Foundation 3 to 5 years of experience with developing front-end applications using JavaScript using jQuery and JavaScript frameworks.
