Graphic Designer

Excellent opportunity for experienced Graphic Designer in the areas of; Web and Print Ads

Opportunity with fast growing and highly innovative manufacturer and distributor of high performance bedding products, headquartered on LI. In this role you will lead the design process for print, web and social media projects from conception through implementation. You will be challenged to bring creative concepts and a distinct visual identity to all marketing drivers with an understanding of the creative and marketing objectives for all projects.

​Responsibilities include:

• Thorough review of creative briefs
• Follow up with requestors for clarity on objectives
• Review with creative director ideas and concepts for projects
• Using creative suite programs, produce graphics and visuals
• Research and selection of stock images
• Direct/execute photography needed for visuals/POP
• Utilize typography skills
• Maintain organized filing system for all works created
• Participate in regular team meetings to review upcoming and on-going projects
• Collaborate with other designers and marketing to maintain brand standards
• Assist in additional projects/duties as requested by management

Requirements:

• AS/BS/BA in visual arts, graphic design, fine arts or other similar field is highly preferred
• Equivalent work experience and/or portfolio acceptable
• 3+ years of experience in Print production required
• Knowledge of Digital advertising
• Photography skills helpful but not required
• Animation skills preferred but not required
• Hands-on experience delivering work from conception to completion
• Computer savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office
• Must have a portfolio available for review
