Williams Advanced Engineering are currently recruiting for Graduate Engineer to join our Electrical team on a permanent basis.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, Graduate Engineer to join our Electrical team at Williams Advanced Engineering. Reporting to the Principal Engineer – Systems Integration, this is an exciting role where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to rotate around the different functions within the electrical team over a 2-year period.
Duties will be wide ranging and varied and will include the design of vehicle electrical systems and circuits / harnesses – using a number of software tools, primarily VeSys II for which on the job training will be given. The successful candidate will be responsible for circuit fault finding and analysis. There will be a degree of support needed for of off-site testing to UK and overseas based test facilities.
The Graduate Engineer will have the ability to capture the requirements for electronic systems and components. You will attend project meetings, feeding back information to and from the project team with respect to timing/technical information.
The successful candidate will meet with suppliers and clients and work closely with the electrical workshop team – building good working relationships.
