Summary

With general autonomy, direct a major segment of the company’s Travel Services organization worldwide.


Key Responsibilities

  • Direct the design and execution of global strategies to maximize the value and efficiency of the company’s operations.
  • Direct the development of feasibility studies, and financial modeling alternatives to determine how to maximize the efficient use of Travel Services by the various company business units globally, regionally, and locally.
  • Plan and direct the provision of a full range of cost effective and timely services.
  • Review and approves annual operating and capital expenditure business plans.
  • Direct the activities of the global process through subordinate managers, staff, and the worldwide engagement of other professionals.
  • Serve as the principal contact for key business unit personnel with interfacing process responsibilities.
  • Job role has budgetary accountabilities for $50,000,000 to $100,000,000 of annual operating expense or capital investment for specific segments of ESG’s global portfolio.
  • Responsibilities include routine critical decision making responsibility associated with viability / non-viability of projects of $25,000,000 to $50,000,000.
  • Role is global in nature requiring business comprehension considerate of culture, financial terms, conventions, and legal practices in global market place.
  • Job role is solely responsible for the direction of a major area of the Global Travel Services organization.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or field related to the specific management assignment.
  • 10 to 15 years of progressively more responsible experience in related areas.
  • Effective internal relations with all levels of a large, complex organization, or equivalent work experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior global program management experience (ideally within Travel).
  • Familiarity with IT/Technology trends (apps, integrated software, etc.).
  • Experience within travel industry: airlines, hotels, etc.
  • Strong customer-focused mindset with ability to communicate to various levels of stakeholders – internally and externally.
