Position Title: Global Outreach Coordinator

Position Status: Part Time – 20 hours weekly

Responsible to: Director of Global Outreach

Position Summary: The Global Outreach Coordinator will work directly with Bethel’s Director of Global Outreach to administrate two main areas; Bethel’s global ministries to missionaries and partners and Bethel’s Global mission trips, ensuring that our people are equipped and mobilized to influence the world and make disciples.

Exhibits traits of a disciple of Jesus. Maintains a mature walk with the Lord.

Qualifications:
Passion for global missions and cross-cultural ministry

Strong administrative abilities (Managing projects/Microsoft/Excel)

Self-starter, able to perform responsibilities without close supervision and with attention to detail

Professional communication skills both verbal and written. Confidentiality required

Ability to build and work with teams

Is able to maintain flexibility in dealing with different cultures

Ability to work occasional evening or weekends

Preferably experience on mission trips and in mission’s development

Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist in the development of global partnerships initiated by the Director of Global Outreach/Outreach teams and turn them into the reality of quality mission trips.

Administrate mission trips logistics in all areas ranging from pre-field scheduling to post- field debriefing. Conduct Initial Team Leader meetings and coordinate team trainings.

Coordinate international travel and accommodation arrangements for teams, missionaries and partners.

Review trip applications to ensure that the requirements for participation are met.

Promote global mission events and trips through the web site and other media.

Oversee the budgets for trips ensuring compliance with Global Outreach Team directives.

Respond to administrative needs of the Director of Global Outreach and Global Leadership teams.

Serve on the Global Outreach Leadership Team

Act as the “ communication hub ” between Director of Global Outreach, leadership teams, volunteers, global partners, and congregation.

Participate in global trips to visit national partners and/or missionaries as deemed necessary to provide ongoing relationships, promotion and increased communication.
