GCS (GCP/GCA/GCR) – Essbase/ Planning Oracle Administrator

We are currently seeking an experienced GCS (GCP/GCA/GCR) – Essbase/ Planning Oracle Administrator to join our team in Racine. This person will be part of a team responsible for certain corporate financial reporting and planning applications; primarily Oracle Essbase and Oracle Planning System 11. It will include maintaining the current applications as well as assisting in the development and implementation of new applications. The role will be highly interactive with the user and information technology organization.

Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing technical and administration support for OFA, Oracle Essbase/Planning Systems including security and metadata maintenance as well as consolidation of multiple scenarios and structures utilized by the business

Lead monthly worldwide collection of cost center actual for loading into consolidated reporting tools, issues investigation and resolution, process improvements and chart of account mapping maintenance

Accountable for worldwide cost center control involving the review and approval of all cost center mapping from local ledgers to Foundation Library / eNERgy HFM and OFA (Oracle Financial Analyzer), Oracle Essbase/Planning applications

Assist in the maintenance and control of budgeting & forecasting processes in OFA and Oracle Planning, provide reporting assistance and variance analysis to Finance and Business leaders

Key contact for the OFA, Oracle Essbase/Planning user community for training, troubleshooting issues in Smart View, financial reports, and related web environments

Participate as a key member in the implementation of Oracle Essbase/Reporting applications and process improvements through the implementation of additional functionality and modules of the Oracle EPM suite of products

The qualified candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or other technical discipline. If degree work is in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or technical discipline other than Accounting or Finance, then demonstrated educational background or work experience in accounting and finance required.

5+ years of professional experience in management information systems and/or accounting and finance

Administration or development experience with Oracle EPM suite of products preferred (HFM, Essbase, Planning, FDQM)

The ideal candidate will have:
Strong problem solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate; ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems.

Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)

Experience with budget and forecasting, training facilitation and project collaboration

Experience with supporting and troubleshooting end-user and technical issues

Experience with SAP a plus

Bilingual or multi-lingual language skills a plus
