CINEMALOOP – Where movie fans meet!

At Cinemaloop, we are cinemalovers, moviebuffs, filmnerds, cineasocialities, and cinephiles and we’re on a mission to design new innovative technology platform experiences for the moviegoing-loving generation.

This is a part time equity-based position. We are currently developing our first version, while raising our initial round of funds. Qualified candidate will be compensated with share of the company equity depending on the amount of time he or she can commit to the project. Followed by full time “paid” position post funding.

YOU

Looking for a startup to join ‘on the side’ (moonlight).
Understand this is a non-salary equity-based role, until we are funded.
You have the part time availability of 20hrs a week min.
Remote working – be able to work/tele meet within US, Canadian Timezones.
You can jump right in working with a current remote team of developers
Excited to help change the face of the moviegoing experience.
Help push the vision of Cinemaloop MVP.
Improve MVP using open source tools /tech and methods.
Passion for writing code necessary for great user interaction.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership – gets its done!.
Good English writing and speaking communication skills.
Impeccable attention for detail.
Commitment to seeing tasks through to completion.
Experience with ground-up, dirty, messy, lean startup culture and what it takes.

SKILLS

Excellent working experience of Node.js (min 3yr required experience)
Excellent working experience of React.js (min 3yr required experience)
Working experience with Backend /Front-end development environments.
Experience with responsive design.
Excellent working experience of HTML5 /CSS3, Javascript, JQuery.
Excellent working proficiency with Node.js templates engines (i.e. Handlebars, Jade, etc).
Familiar with most of the following: React.js, Redux.js, Python, PHP, MySQL, NoSQL(i.e. MongoDB), Node.js, Laravel, Docker, Nginx, Git, AngularJS, Bash, etc.
Solid understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, asset loading, caching, REST, Thrift).
Excellent working experience with with SPA, REST, JWT, API development or integration.
Experience or familiarity with architectural patterns of large, high-scale web or mobile applications.
Good working experience with MySQL or MongoDB.
Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities.
Good understanding of web-socket communication interaction.
Experience using Git (Gitlab preferred) for Source Control and Build.
Clean code and agile development.
Proficiency in writing test cases and performing code reviews.
Accurately test and debug applications across browsers and platforms.
Contribute to architectural documentation and guidelines.
