Full-Time Paramedic

The Oakes Volunteer Ambulance Service is seeking a Paramedic to become a part of our community. We are a progressive rural ambulance service in southeast North Dakota that responds to nearly 400 calls for service each year. Our ambulance service is an essential piece of a progressive health network that includes a critical access hospital, two clinics, nursing home, fire department, and many other health related services. Oakes is a great community to live in, raise a family, and work.

Job Summary:
To provide appropriate, efficient and timely pre-hospital advanced life support and transportation of the sick and injured in accordance with local, state, national and Oakes Ambulance standards of practice.

This full-time position has flexible rotating shift requirements (3 days on, followed by 6 days off) and includes a health insurance and retirement benefit package (North Dakota Public Employee Retirement System – ND PERS).

Competitive wage will be determined based on experience and current qualifications.
