Full Stack Web Developer

About Mid-States:

Mid-States Distributing Company, Inc. is a 60+ year old retail cooperative providing a wide range of central services to its 41 members and their 40,000 employees with nearly 700 farm, ranch and home stores in the U.S. and Canada doing over 6 billion in sales annually.

Primary Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain web-based applications for the company’s different initiatives.
• Develop both back end services and front end UI’s.
• Design and develop APIs sticking to modern and best practices.
• Assist with the design and deployment of the full stack.
• Work directly with the company executives, development team, and other IT members
• Help contribute and be part of our IT committee.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Be a self-proclaimed Rockstar developer
• Ability to be an in-house developer, remote work is not available at this time.
• Experience and knowledge of WordPress.
• Laravel God or Goddess
• Experience with GIT, VSTS, Bitbucket, or other repository systems.
• VueJS/Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, Bootstrap, MySQL, MSSQL, AWS
• 5 years of web development experience.
• Not required but very helpful to have experience with Quasar Framework, PhoneGap, Electron.

Compensation:

• Starting salary for this position is 75-85k annually for qualified candidates but is negotiable based on experience.
